Women's Development League

New for 2026: the second tier of the women's national game. Ten clubs field senior sides for the first time, alongside under-23 development teams entered by the twelve Women's Premier Division clubs. Split into two groups, each team plays every other team in its group home and away before a knock-out stage decides the title. There is no promotion or relegation with the Premier Division in this first season; whether that changes is under review.
